Individual Therapy

Individual psychotherapy or counseling is a process through which a client works one-on-one with a clinician for emotional health and wellness.

Individual therapy usually consists of a 50-minute session where client and therapist explore a target concern in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Depending on what this concern is, therapy may consist of talking and processing. Other concerns may be better treated with art therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, homework or worksheets, or experiential activities. The beautiful thing about therapy is that the options are endless. Therapy is a multi-faceted experience that can be truly transformative.
