Family Therapy

Family therapy works with families and parts of families to nurture change and growth.

Much like individual therapy and child therapy, family therapy consists of a family, or a part of a family, working with a trained therapist or counselor to address problems in relationships, address trauma, and improve communication among family members. Family therapy may be the standard 50-minute session length, but it may also consist of longer sessions in order to meet the needs of each person in the room. Family therapy can be a powerful experience for many families, and can help incite positive change within a family.
